Pearland Theatre is a student lead organization sponsored by the theatre department. It encourages the promotion, appreciation, excellence, and educational development of theatre arts. Student members participate in productions, service projects, festivals, & attend performances in the Houston area. As an active International Thespian Troupe, student actors have the opportunity to travel to the Thespian Festival yearly and compete for scholarships and in events that could qualify them for Nationals. Students also get the unique opportunity to participate in both plays and musicals by auditioning and becoming a cast member in shows. They receive points for every show based on participation and those points qualify them for future honors in the International Thespian Society.
