Password Reset Instructions

Passwords have been reset for Pearland High School Students. Students who did not reset their password on campus during Oiler Market Days will reset their password the first day of school.

All students must reset their password on a District Computer.

Students with a District Laptop should arrive with their laptop fully charged on the first day of school in order to reset their password in Homeroom.

Students that do not have a District Laptop will reset passwords in the Library.

Before resetting a password, ALL STUDENTS must Forget the PISD-ORG on personal devices to avoid being locked out of the system due to conflicting password credientials. This will need to be done on campus.

In addition, old passwords saved in a web browsers or apps for Skyward, Canvas, and Microsoft 365 should be deleted.

Please see the instructions below for Forgetting the PISD-ORG network on a personal device as well as criteria for new passwords.

Forget Network on iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap info (the letter "i" with a circle around it) next to the PISD-ORD network.
  4. Tap Forget This Network.

Forget Network on Android 13

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet.
  3. Tap Internet.
  4. Tap Saved networks (you may need to scroll down).
  5. Long-press the PISD-ORD network.
  6. Tap Forget.

Forget Network on Android Samsung

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to go into Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. Long press the PISD-ORG network.
  5. Select Forget network.

Forget Network on Mac Laptop

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Network.
  3. At the top of the main section of the window, click Wi-Fi (not in the left sidebar).
  4. If you are currently connected to the PISD-ORD network:
    1. Click Details.
    2. Click Forget This Network.
    3. Click Remove to confirm your intent.
  5. If PISD-ORG appears in the Known Networks section:
    1. Click the three-dot icon to the right of the PISD-ORG network.
    2. Click Forget This Network.
    3. Click Remove to confirm your intent.

Forget Network on Windows 10 Laptop

  1. Click Start Menu.
  2. Type change Wi-Fi (you do not need to clcik anywhere, just type), then select Change Wi-Fi Settings from the search results.
  3. Click Manage Known Networks.
  4. Click the PISD-ORG Wi-Fi profile.
  5. Click Forget.

Forget Network on Windows 11 Laptop

  1. In the Action Center on the Taskbar (lower-right corner of your screen), right-click Network.
  2. Select Network and internet settings.
  3. Click Wi-Fi.
  4. Click Manage Known Networks.
  5. Click Forget for the PISD-ORD network.

Password Criteria

  • Minimum of 8 characters in length
  • No more than 16 characters in length
  • Must contain at least 1 uppercase letter
  • Must contain at least 1 lowercase letter
  • Must contain at least 1 number
  • DO NOT use a special character
  • CANNOT be similar to a previous password
  • CANNOT have parts of first or last name
  • CANNOT contain spaces
